Budding stars Jazz Blaack and Molly Rainford will be adding their sparkle to this year’s fireworks night to ensure things go with a bang.

The display, one of the largest in the London area, will be held on November 1, with the evening’s entertainment kicking off at 6pm in Barking Park. Longbridge Road.

It will include live performances from local artiste and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford.

Molly sailed through to the live final of the show in 2012, wowing the judges with her version of Beyonce’s “Ave Maria”.

She has since performed across the country.

The youngster will be supported by crooner Sam Knight, who specialises in swing music from the Rat Pack era.

The main attraction of the night, the fireworks display itself, will start at about 8pm. The Mayor of Barking and Dagenham, Cllr Elizabeth Kangethe, will lead the countdown.

The display, which is organised by the Barking and East London Round Table in conjunction with the Town Hall, is supported by the Post, Holland’s Funfair and Solar Self Drive in Barking. Gates open at 5.30pm but you’re advised to get there early as queues are expected. Tickets are £5 for adults and £1 for under 16s.
