DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE have confirmed the signing of former Millwall and Gillingham midfielder Danny Spiller, writes MIKE SIMMONDS.
As revealed in the Post yesterday, Spiller had been training with the Daggers and was expected to put pen to paper before the weekend's match with Chesterfield.
He has now completed the formalities, to the delight of manager John Still.
"He was wanted by West Ham a few years ago, and is at least a Championship player," he said.
"I've taken him until January and we'll look at where we go then."
