ST JAMES emerged victorious from the Newham Girls six-a-side Primary Cup Final that took place last month. The youngsters defeated Elmhust 3-1 in the final, thanks to a brace of goals from Alfreda Bama, while Gabrielle Barnett was also on the scoresheet.

The youngsters defeated Elmhust 3-1 in the final, thanks to a brace of goals from Alfreda Bama, while Gabrielle Barnett was also on the scoresheet.
St James, based in Tower Hamlets Road, Forest Gate, had to win their way through three rounds to reach the finals, played at Hartley Primary School in East Ham and displayed excellent skills and teamwork during their matches.
The final itself was played in great spirit and the victory for St James ensured they went through the season with an unbeaten record.
