PLANNED London Underground improvement work at Upton Park station on Sunday, August 23 has been postponed, Transport for London has announced.
This will come as welcome news to thousands of Hammers fans planning their travel arrangements for the visit of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on that date.
However, works planned for Saturday, September 19 will still go ahead, meaning that there will be no service to either Upton Park or East Ham tube stations for the visit of Liverpool that day.
