Did someone actually want Curbishley back then Digger?
If so, I wonder what sort of mind bending exotic tobacco they he/she was smoking.
Zola did show a touch of naivety on Saturday with his tactics and line up, but he is still learning and I would trust him not to make the same sort of mistake again.
Curbishley on the other hand, despite having roughly twenty years of management experience, would have adopted those very tactics and would have also fielded the same sort of line up and was so pig headed and one dimensional, that he would still use the same tactics, formation with the same sort of side next week, the week after, the week after that and so on, despite it being a losing formula.
Alan Curbishley is one person that I definitely. DO NOT want to see back at Upton Park thank you very much! No way.
