DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE manager John Still has admitted there is no further news on the possibility of re-signing Portsmouth winger Matt Ritchie.
The 20-year-old, who has returned to Fratton Park after spending three months at Notts County this season proved a massive hit at Victoria Road in his loan period last campaign, scoring 12 goals from the left flank.
Although Still is monitoring proceedings, he doesn't expect anything to be concluded in the transfer window.
"I'm not sure where the Matt Ritchie situation about him signing for us has come from," he said.
"I'm right up to date with it, he will be back with Portsmouth until the end of the month and then if they decide they want to a do a similar situation to last season and let him come to us, then would we be interested? Yes.
"But if they want something like the Notts County deal, then that is out of our league."
