Archant

A person had to be taken to A&E after high winds damaged a nursery yesterday.

The patient sustained no visible injuries but was taken as a precaution after Storm Doris caused damage to the ceiling in the reception area at William Bellamy Children’s Centre in Dagenham.

Services including Chestnut Nursery School, which is housed within the Frizlands Lane centre, resumed today.
