DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE striker Mark Nwokeji is expected to be made available for loan if he comes through a training game at Gillingham this week.
The 27-year-old has been stepping up his training after suffering recovering from an injury that has kept him out of action since the 1-0 home defeat against Darlington on January 31.
Nwokeji netted the winning penalty as Daggers defeated Great Wakering Rovers in the Essex Senior Cup last Tuesday and was on the bench for the FA Cup first round clash at Huddersfield, but manager John Still wants him to get some much-needed match fitness.
"I think we will probably loan him out if he gets through the game this week," said the boss.
"We've got Wesley Thomas and Jon Nurse and Mark has been out that long that he needs to play games.
