Students visit Foreign Office

STUDENTS from Barking Abbey School have visited the lavish Locarno Rooms at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. It was part of the first ever mock meeting of the European Union Council where youngsters tackled topical issues for the UK and EU.

It was part of the first ever mock meeting of the European Union Council where youngsters tackled topical issues for the UK and EU.

Barking Abbey joined 28 other schools from across the capital at the historical home of diplomatic dinners and conferences in Whitehall.

Pupils Harpreet Rathor, Daniel Rogerman and Darren Webster represented the school and entered into lively debates on issues, including climate change, and immigration.
