THE hilarious touring production of Birthday Suite, the riotous comedy by Robin Hawdon, stars the irrepressible, but undoubtedly brilliantly funny, Damian Williams, and promises to be a perfect treat.

The setting is a hotel bedroom complete with champagne, a double bed that disappears into the wall and a very attractive girl called Mimi who just happens to be a little late.

To add to the confusion, there's shy Kate, anxiously awaiting her computer agency date for the evening; Dick, an over-amorous psychiatrist, accidentally shown to the wrong room; Bob, celebrating his birthday, his wife Liz, who turns up unexpectedly and most important of all - between the bedrooms - a connecting door, which has inadvertently been left unlocked. It's all a recipe for side-splitting comic chaos.

This Bruce James Production opens at the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford, today (Thurs) and runs until Saturday.
