The Summer of Festivals rolls into Dagenham on Sunday for Eastbrookend Country Fair.

Pony rides, dog shows and falconry displays will provide oodles of family fun at the free event.

Held in Eastbrookend Country Park, a sprawling, 84-hectare nature reserve, the event offers a great escape from city life.

Visitors can reconnect with the great outdoors by watching woodland crafts including woodturning and chainsaw carving.

Or, if ewe fancy some excitement, take a peek at the Lamb National — an adorable race featuring baby sheep.

The event, which runs from 11am to 4pm, features a whole host of activities ranging from climbing and bouldering walls to archery, go-karts, Punch and Judy shows, live music and more.

Parking is available at Barking and Dagenham College, on Dagenham Road, and Bakers Social Club. The Millennium Centre car park has spaces for blue badge holders only.
