THE Syd Lawrence Orchestra, voted best big band in the land for the 11th consecutive year, brings the music of the swing era back to life with an exciting concert of popular hits at the Kenneth More Theatre, Oakfield Road, Ilford, on Sunday.
The show features the music of great band-leaders and vocalists, including Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Billy May, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and many more.
The orchestra is directed by Chris Dean. Performances are at 3.30pm and 7.30pm.
