It's a little after 5.30 on Monday evening, and my two orange re-cycling bags have only just been collected.
My black general waste wheelie bin was emptied fairly early this morning, and then my blue glass box was then emptied mid-morning.
Looks to me as if the new collection system is really working - it now takes THREE vehicles, and crews, to do the job that ONE did in the past.
On a recent visit to Malta I noted that general waste is collected daily, before 9am, and re-cycling collected weekly, by the same crew.
It seems a perfect system that works without fail.
