ORIENT defender Tamika Mkandawire has been linked with a move away from Brisbane Road in recent weeks.
Several Championship sides, as well as League One rivals Millwall, have been watching the defender and the Recorder understands that the Lions made a bid for Mkandawire, which was turned down.
"We are not in a position where we need to sell players," said O's chief executive Matthew Porter.
"Tamika Mkandawire and Jason Demetriou seem to be linked with clubs at every transfer window, but we don't want to sell them," he said.
MEANWHILE, defender Brian Saah, who was released by Orient at the end of last season, has been training with League One side MK Dons, and played in their 2-1 defeat at Windsor & Eton on Saturday.
