NEW loan signings John Spicer and Eric Lichaj both start for Leyton Orient in their game at Brentford this afternoon.

Lichaj, a versatile defender who has joined on a one month loan from Aston Villa, will slot in at right back, with skipper Stephen Purches having failed to shake off a persistent calf injury.

Former Arsenal trainee Spicer will line up in midfield, with manager Geraint Williams likely to utilise a 4-5-1 formation, with James Scowcroft set to be deployed on the right-hand side.

Brentford have a current Gunner in their line-up, with highly-rated Polish keeper Wojciech Szczesny starting in goal.
