A GANGLAND-STYLE attack left a teenage boy with numerous stab wounds after a violent mob targeted him in his own home.

The 19-year-old became the latest victim of the knife crime which is consuming the capital, on the eve of the Prime Minister's announcement of a zero tolerance stance on the possession of blades.

Police say the attack took place on Sunday at 9.30pm when three men arrived in the 'usually quiet' Dagenham Avenue, and barged their way into the teenage victim's family home.

There they set upon him, stabbing him repeatedly, before making off in a small silver car with blacked out windows.
