HEARTLESS thieves have ripped down posters advertising this summer's charity rock and roll festival.

Organiser Ed Saunders told the POST that at last count around 80 of the posters had gone missing, each of which costs more than £10 to produce.

He said: "Because the festival is not until August we wanted to go for something that would last but now we're going to have to go for a much cheaper version."

It is estimated that the cost of the stolen posters amounts to more than £800.

Ed said: "It's not on. No-one's making money out of this. It's all for a good cause."
