Sebastian Court in Meadow Road, will make way for 90 homes which will be a mixture of shared ownership and genuinely affordable rented homes with landscaped gardens, a central play area and a tree lined entrance.

The project is being delivered by contractors Jerram Falkus, along with architects Pollard Thomas Edwards.

Bell Phillips Architects have also been selected to deliver around 20 new town houses and flats in Church Street, Dagenham.

Pat Hayes, managing director of council regeneration company Be First, said: “I am excited to be able to make these appointments, particularly because each of these radically different plans, places a similar emphasis on top notch design and practicality at the same time.

“Working with architects like these, who understand the borough, we can be certain of building high quality, affordable homes for local people.”
