Clapton 1 Barkingside 2
CLAPTON'S losing streak extended to six games at the weekend as they went down at home to Barkingside, writes IAIN LIDDLE.
The Tons were typically impressive in possession for a lot of the game, but again were made to pay for their indiscipline at both ends of the pitch.
The game was goalless at half time, but Barkingside substitute Sean Thomas opened the scoring, before Tommy Steel made it 2-0.
Clapton reduced the arrears though Zina Barizasi, but the game was marred by a horrific injury to Side's Alex Carter, who suffered a broken fibia, tibia and a dislocated ankle.
Clapton visit bottom club Mauritius Sports Association on Saturday.
