Dagenham hero soldier Martin Kinggett, was the 233rd British serviceman killed in Afghanistan. The 19-year-old from Bennett's Castle Lane, died from gunshot wounds while giving covering fire to rescue a wounded comrade.
He has been called a hero and 'as brave as a lion' by his fellow soldiers and tributes have been pouring in to the Post since his death on Thursday, February 25.
