A man and a woman are in hospital following a road traffic collision.

Ambulance crews were called to reports of two cars having collided along Valence Avenue, Dagenham, at around 10pm last night.

The 21-year-old man was treated for neck and shoulder injuries and had to be cut free from his car by firefighters from Dagenham.

The 44-year-old woman was also treated for neck and back pain following the incident.

Both were taken to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, as a priority.
