Two men arrested after Barking Tube assault

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of common assault following an appeal about an incident on a Tube at Barking station.
A 35-year-old man from Essex was arrested last Wednesday.
He was interviewed under caution and released on police bail until Wednesday, July 8.
A 41-year-old man from Essex was arrested on Thursday. He was interviewed under caution and also released on police bail until Wednesday, July 8.
It follows a British Transport Police (BTP) public appeal for information after an assault on Saturday, March 21.
A BTP spokesman said: “We would like to thank the members of the public who came forward with valuable information. We would also like to thank the local media for publicising this appeal.”
