CHILDREN from Barking and Dagenham have been admitted to hospital with alcohol-related complaints in the last three years.
The figure of 57 is below the London average of 62, and less than neighbouring Havering with 82.
Details were released by the government last week as they published new advice to parents about giving alcohol to their children.
Sir Liam Donaldson, chief medical officer, said parents should never give alcohol to under 15s, and that teenagers aged between 15 and 17 should always be supervised if given a drink.
