Our local council newspaper recently asked residents of this borough to write in with what they thought of living in the borough. Some of us did.
When I read the letters page this week it seemed that everyone actually had no problems with living in the borough, until I came to my letter and realised that all the negative bits had been carefully weeded out, thus covering the truth of how people really feel.
Can only say what the powers that be want to hear and our council is certainly going along with that.
Bring back the Citizen, at least they didn't pretend to listen to the people and ask for their views, their remit was just to applaud the council bodies.
