WEST HAM are set for a pre-season trip to Beijing in July, but only if they fail to qualify for next season's Europa League.
The club are keen to widen their brand all over the world and tapping into the potential market in the far east will certainly up their profile.
Last season, the Hammers travelled to the United States and Canada taking on the MLS All Star team along the way, and that proved a great success.
They are now looking for something similar with a tournment in the Chinese capital - the venue for last year's Olympic Games.
However, if West Ham can finish seventh in the Premier League, that will mean qualification for Europe, where the early rounds start in July, so the China trip will be cancelled.
