ORIENT manager Geraint Williams refused to be too critical of his side after they were beaten 2-1 by Millwall at the New Den on Saturday.
Simon Church gave the visitors a lead minutes into the second half, before a brace from former O Gary Alexander gave the Lions three points.
"I thought we gave a good account for ourselves out there today," he said.
"The effort and endeavour was there and I am just disappointed for them that they have not taken anything out of the game.
"We switched off for the first goal from a long ball and then conceded a silly free-kick for the second.
