ORIENT boss Geraint Williams makes a sentimental return to Colchester for a Carling Cup clash on Tuesday night as O's look to build on Saturday's win at Bristol Rovers.Williams, who started last season as manager of Colchester, said: "I had 10 years at Colchester and left a lot of good people there. Some of them have since left, but it will be nice to see a few of the old faces."Orient do not have a good record in the competition in recent seasons and Williams smiled: "It's a record that Orient and myself would like to improve upon. "I've not got a good record in the Carling Cup either, so hopefully we can put that right."

Williams will be boosted by Saturday's win as strikes from JJ Melligan and Jimmy Smith earned them a 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers.

"It was a great way to start the season. It was solid and professional and we seemed to grow into the game," said Williams

"We played some decent stuff in the first half. We didn't create too many second half chances, but it was a world class goal from Jimmy to win it for us.
