PUNK band Towers of London play The Bridgehouse II, Canning Town, next month as part of their Back to Basics tour.

Formed in 2004, their music mixes elements of rock and heavy metal music with 1977-style British punk.

They have divided the opinions of the British music press since their emergence in early 2005, and are well known for their energetic live performances and outrageous antics, on stage and off.

Frontman Donny Tourette rather bizarrely joined Celebrity Big Brother 5 at the start of the TV series in 2007, along with Jade Goody.

He made his entrance by swearing at the crowd, but lasted just 48 hours in the house, escaping by scaling a wall.

The five-piece will be at The Bridgehouse, Bidder Street, on November 16. It'll be a riot.

They will be supported by Newham band East End Promises and The Candy Runts.

Tickets are 10. And we have two pairs to give away.
