Essex are set to face Sussex in the upcoming Twenty20 Cup match at Chelmsford this week and the Recorder has joined forces with The Lord's Taverners to offer one lucky reader the chance to attend this sensational sell-out.
The Lord's Taverners, the leading cricket-based charity who give young people a sporting chance, have recently formed a ground breaking partnership with Essex County Cricket Club, becoming the county's recreational charity partner for the 2009 season.
The partnership is the first of its kind and will see the two organisations work closely together with special focus on grass roots of cricket within the county.
For your chance to be our lucky winner, simply answer the following question:
Who is the current captain of the Essex team? Is it:
A) Alistair Cook
B) Ravi Bopara
C) Mark Pettini
The winner will receive a pair of tickets for the Twenty20 Cup match against Sussex on Wednesday 3rd June. Send your entries to sport@ilfordrecorder.co.uk and the closing date is Monday, June 1 at 11am.
