Two children and a woman escaped from a flat fire yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called after a blaze broke out in a five-room flat in Dovehouse Mead, Barking, at about 6.15pm.
Part of the eleventh floor flat was damaged by the blaze. The woman and children managed to escape uninjured.
Twenty-one firefighters managed to bring the fire under control by 7.25pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
