Woman hurt in Christmas Day robbery

A WOMAN shopkeeper was injured when a raider targeted a shop on Christmas Day. The thug barged into Quix Store in Bennetts Castle Lane, Dagenham, at 2.10pm and demanded cash. He pushed her into a storeroom and threatened her with a knife before making off

A WOMAN shopkeeper was injured when a raider targeted a shop on Christmas Day.

The thug barged into Quix Store in Bennetts Castle Lane, Dagenham, at 2.10pm and demanded cash.

He pushed her into a storeroom and threatened her with a knife before making off with cigarettes and a small amount of money from the till.

He is described as a white youth, aged around 17, of thin build with green eyes and a face heavily pockmarked with acne.
