TWO of our parks could soon receive huge £400,000 cash boosts, but only if enough residents vote for them.

Mayesbrook Park and Abbey Green are among 47 London open spaces nominated for a share of a £6 million pot.

But only the ten parks which receive the most votes will benefit from the money.

A special prize of £2 million will be given to one park at the discretion of London Mayor Boris Johnson, who has stumped up the cash from the City Hall coffers.

To register your vote visit www.london.gov.uk/parksvote or call City Hall to arrange a postal vote on (020) 7983 4100.
