Pink tutus adorned green fields in a display of dancing that brought broad smiles to mums and dads.

Young dancers from the Curzon School of Dancing dazzled onlookers with a selection of four dances at the Thames View school fete on a gloriously sunny afternoon on Friday, June 28.

The group, all girls aged from three and up, dance regularly with the school based at Curzon Community Centre, Bastable Avenue, Barking, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary later this year.

Dance teacher and director Jacquie Wood said: “It went really well. The children loved it, they were very excited.

“We had had lessons beforehand and it was a nice way to finish off a class in the sunshine.”

Pictures of the dancers were shared on iWitness24. Visit to join up and share your pictures of events, people or places across Barking and Dagenham.
