Students at BossCrowns Film and Drama School got the chance to showcase their directing and acting abilities to a large audience on Friday, December 13, at the Rivergate Centre, in Minter Road.

Winners included 4-year-olds James Mapp, Trey-Wayne Saunders and Vyom Ravle, 15-year-old Dara Bolagi, who received a special creative award and Michael Barek, 18, who was awarded for his commitment to the school, having been at the school since he was eight and now mentor young students.

Wayne Saunders, film-maker, said: “The community came out in their droves to support and celebrate the children’s hard work and dedication.

“The children were very excited and happy to receive their awards and certificates on a very special occasion and it was encouraging to witness the growth in confidence.”
