RAIN did little to dampen the enthusiasm of junior tennis players from Chadwell Heath and Cranbrook Castle Tennis Clubs recently.
Chadwell Heath hosted an American fun doubles tournament for juniors of varying ability to provide an exciting afternoon, with over 25 players, ranging from nine to 16-year-olds took part.
After an excellent afternoon's tennis, first and second places went to Cranbrook Castle's two young brothers Rajhmano Vijayarajah and Rajmithurn Vijayarajah, with third place being awarded to Chadwell Heath's Bayo.
Cranbrook Castle's junior representative Gemma Gallant, who took part in the event, was delighted with how the event panned out.
"We all enjoyed the fun day and on behalf of all the juniors who took part," she said. "I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to organise it.
