It’s become a national tradition to take your dog with you when you vote, and now even the candidates are getting in on the act.

Jon Cruddas, standing for Labour in Dagenham and Rainham (alongside these candidates), took his border terrier Joanie with him to vote this morning, and made this video urging others to go to the polls.
