Barking Roadrunners held round three of their Summer Handicap Series on Thursday night, with Richard Dudman taking the honours.
Although Dudman crossed the line third on the night, he was declared the winner after first finisher Tia was competing off a handicap time in her first event, while second-placed George was running as a guest and was therefore ineligible for the official result.
At the weekend, BRR members also took part in a Smartphone Orienteering event at Hainault Country Park.
The course used 10 permanent marker posts and measured approximately 5km in a straight line.
However, with competitors required to navigate between checkpoints, the challenge was to complete the course while covering the shortest possible distance rather than recording the fastest time.
Emma Paisley proved the most efficient navigator, completing the course in 6.9km to take first place.

A group of club members took on the Ridley Round Trail Self-Navigate Half Marathon, a 14.4-mile challenge which started and finished at The Compass pub.
Completing the route in 4:15.00 were Lorraine Hilton, Yolanda Ceveira, Kresh Veerasamy, Peter Grant, Sarah-Jo Capon and Timi Veerasamy.
Rob Sargent represented the club at the Arthur Whiston Five Mile race, which incorporated the Essex Championships, recording a time of 46.18.
