Alan Murphy continues to cause upsets as he bagged another victory at the fourth race of the Barking Road Runners Handicap Series.

The race sees athletes set off at different times depending on their ability, with the fastest going off last, but the winner is still first past the post.

The casual park run competitor Murphy, who does a lot of work at the club, landed a £10 cash prize and is now keen to tackle more challenges.

Youngster Zoe Hiller competed well in a 300m swim and a 2K run (16.07) at the Youth Games Aquathon.

Maxine Brown also just narrowly missed out on a personal best with a time of an hour and 40 minutes and Wayne Palmer managed to complete the route in an hour and 57 minutes.

Nyokabi Kiruthi took part in the British 10K and got to run past some of London’s most iconic landmarks and finished in one hour and three minutes.
