Barking Road Runners members Alison Fryatt and Faye Spooner warmed themselves up with cracking 10k times on a wintry weekend.

Fryatt completed the Hadleigh 2012 Legacy 10k in a time of 1:17.50, while Spooner (62.00) took in the Chilly Hilly 10k in Hampshire.

Barking Road Runners junior member Ella McIntyre will be representing Barking & Dagenham at the London Mini Marathon after a storming run in the trials.

McIntyre clocked an impressive 18.27 over the three-mile course to earn the right to represent the borough in April.

Rakesh Sandhu set a new 5k best at the Winter Run in London, clocking a time of 47.32, while Mick Whilby (55.37) and Jen Ruffell also took part.
