Dagenham 88 Runners sent a big squad to the latest East London Five Interclub Series event – the Orion Forest 5.

The race doubled up as the eighth in the club’s Grand Prix series, with the men’s scoring team led home by Gary Coombes (30.39).

Nigel Swinburne (31.24), Mick Brown (35.33), Peter Salmon (35.59), Jamie Austin (40.14) and Trevor Robinson (40.50) completed the scoring, as Hannah Sheikh (41.05), Rahana Islam (44.30), Emma Dudman (44.53) and Timi Veerasamy (47.19) scored for the women.

Also below the 50-minute mark were Ian Cummins (41.32), Pritesh Patel (44.14), Michael Pegnall (44.27), Steve Whitfield (44.53), Kelly Drake-Tapscott (48.56), Louise Chappell (49.39) and Rosina Salmon (49.44).
