Member clocks personal best at London 10k

Paul Suett produced a personal best for Dagenham 88 Runners at the London Winter 10k.

Around 15,000 hardy souls braved the elements on the Embankment to pass the London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben and the Tower of London, with Suett finishing in a superb 19th place in a time of 37 minutes 18 seconds.

David O’Brien (50.17) was the next Dagenham member home, with Louise Chappell (58.40), Mike Linstead (59.54) and Claire Keech (59.54) also breaking the one-hour mark.

Suzanne Castle (60.23) was just outside that figure, while Cassie Bryant (64.02), Suki Heer (66.25), Carlos Bastidas (67.01), Lee Duggan (67.56), Jane Houston (68.22), Tracey George (68.25), Steve Easley (69.13), Jacqui Elliot (69.27) and Kathy Stapleton (69.44) completed the line-up.
