The Hobbs brothers rode their way to success as they was crowned champion’s of the Spring in the Park series this weekend.

The pair both enjoyed success in the last race of series, which saw them both landing the top prizes, Henry bagging the under-12s and brother Noah securing the under-14s.

Barking and Dagenham Cycling Club also enjoyed more success as Iona Moir took the top spot in the girls’ under-14s, while Liam Hank bagged second in the under-16 boys and Tilly Malbon got third in the under-16 girls’ categories.

The team also travelled to the nationals in Milton Keynes, where they failed to find any success between them, despite great performances.

Spokesman Chris Marshall said: “Even though there were some great performances the course seemed too technical for some, with more than the usual amount of crashes, luckily nothing too serious.”
