Barking & Dagenham Cycling Club had some fine results in the latest round of the Spring in the Park series last Friday.

Leah Warrilow was third in the under-14 girls’ race at the Cyclopark, with Amy Harvey fourth and Carys Dodd (sixth), Jasmine Cornelius (eighth) and Levon Posteviciute (10th) also impressing.

Tilly Malbon finished third in the under-16 girls’ race, ahead of Melissa Warrilow (sixth) and Hannah Morgan (seventh), while Max Wilkins (20th) and Damian Dodd (26th) were in the under-16 boys’ race.

Malbon and Zac Seddon were both in action the following day and produced fine rides to ensure their qualification for the National TT Championships to be held later in the year.

Meanwhile, Amy Harvey was runner-up at the South Eastern Championships in Deal, with Cornelius third.

The team are set to race at Gravesend and Redbridge this weekend.
