Barking Road Runners set a time trial challenge for members to see how far they could run in one hour.
Jack Nixon managed the furthest distance with an impressive 10.19 miles, followed by club veteran Martin Page (8.31) and Antony Leckerman (8.03).
Leading the way for the women was Debbie Coyle (7.93), Belinda Riches (7.37) and Joyce Golder (6.74).
Barking also held the second race of their winter virtual 5k handicap series, with 13 members managing to better their times.
Vicki Groves claimed first place with a time of 32.41, which was 1.59 inside her handicap times, and Charlotte Owen (24.27) took second place after a 1.31 improvement.
Chris Anastasi completed the top three in 28.29, some 54 seconds inside his handicap after a long-term ankle injury.
Owen tops the current standings with 198 points, with the third race due to take place in the week commencing March 1.
Members can submit their best five times in the seven-race series for the final standings.
