The result keeps the Mayesbrook Park club third in the standings as they look to chase down leaders FC Romania.

Tower Hamlets gave up a three-goal lead to lose vital points as they went down 4-3 against Essex Senior League rivals Eton Manor.

The visitors had raced into a 3-0 advantage at Broxbourne before half time, with the referee having issues six yellow cards in a feisty affair.

But Manor produced a stunning comeback to take all three points and deny Ade Abayomi’s men some much need points as they look to avoid their season from petering out.

Struggling Newham remain bottom of the Essex Senior League following a 2-1 defeat away to mid-table Stansted.

Newham had been hoping to ground the Airportmen and take off from last place with a victory, but a Tom Larkin double in the first half saw the visitors’ hopes of a win hit turbulence.

While Newham were able to score a goal of their own in the second half, their comeback failed to take flight as their bid to move off last place suffered a delay.

Sporting Bengal United came from behind to earn their 13th draw of the season with a 1-1 tie against Takeley.

The visitors took the lead at the Mile End Stadium before Terlochan Singh hit back with a stunning strike for Bengal to earn a point.

The result keeps United safely in midtable as boss Anwar Uddin continues to surprise his Essex Senior League rivals.
