Reports indicate that pellet caster and corn are producing well and some good carp well into double figures have been caught.
It seems that plenty of roach are also being caught at the Wagtail lake on caster over hemp.
Meanwhile, at the Willow and Ash lakes, anglers are catching from the margins. Pellet, red maggot and casters all working well, with carp being caught to 6lbs.
The Horseshoe lake at Tylers Common is as usual fishing well with skimmers and bream, plenty of carp coming to most baits.
All lakes at the Warren fishery are producing summer quality fish. Plenty of tench to 6lbs plus, bream to 8lbs. roach still spawning. with good carp way up into the mid-twenties.
Future matches: The Saturday open matches at Tylers Common will now be run on the Horseshoe lake. These are proving popular so anglers are advised to book places as early as possible.
