Harvey finished fourth in the same under-14 girls’ race, with Jasmine Cornelius in sixth place.

Tilly Malbon was sixth in the under-16 race, ahead of Melissa Warrilow and Hannah Morgan, while Max Wilkins (eighth) and Damian Dodd (12th) competed in the boys’ event.

David and Stefan Bujdei performed well in the under-10 race, before Saturday saw youngsters back at Cyclopark and Harvey was second ahead of Warrilow (fourth) and Cornelius (fifth).

Wilkins was 18th in the under-16 boys’ race and this weekend sees youngsters compete in the National Championships on successive days at Redbridge and Cyclopark.
