Thundridge 37 by 161 runs

AN exemplary team bowling display by Heath saw them complete a comprehensive victory over Thundridge in bowler-friendly conditions on Saturday.

Daniel Finch (24) and Majit Butt (48) got Heath off to a fantastic start as the home side defied the swinging deliveries thrown down by openers Bosson and Osgood.

Their partnership was eventually broken, but all was not lost as Ian Taylor came in to hit a sparkling 43 which boosted the score to a credible 198.

In reply, Thundrige put in a shocking batting performance, although the bowling of the Chadwell side should be credited.

Every one of them took a wicket as not one Thundridge player made double figures with extras being the joint highest contributor with eight.

Robert Deacon was the pick of the seamers as he took two wickets off six overs, conceding just five runs in the process.
