The latest news from the Barking & Dagenham cycling club

Barking & Dagenham cycling club’s Iona Muir took on the best the country had to offer at the British National Championships on Sunday.

Muir finished a superb eighth in her race to firmly establish herself among the best prospects in the country.

In Bath, fellow Barking & Dagenham rider Henry Hobbs continued his good form to place first in his race.

Liam Hanks was also in action in Bath, placing second in his race, with Harry Mayo fourth in the under-16s’ event.

Club mate Tilly Malbon unfortunately suffered a crash, though thankfully escaped with just scratches.

Closer to home, Barking & Dagenham members Calaen Miller, Lilly White, Carys Dodds, Calum Moir and Harry Jey all competed at the London Youth Games.

Miller showed good form once more at the Maglia Ross Summer Cyclocross Youth Series event, taking a well deserved first place.
