Match results: The latest Tuesday open on Ash lake at Tylers Common was won by consistent Graham Dack fishing with pole and pellet for a total weight of 228lbs.

Taking second place last week was S James with a weight of 213lbs using corn, third F Thomas with 180lbs, fourth Jason Collins with 169lbs, fifth Dennis Lipscombe with 158lbs, sixth J Green with 138lbs.

Elm Park & Hornchurch DAS held their annual Secretaries and Captain's grudge match and the venue was the Top Lake at Raine.

First was Peter Darling with 82lbs 11ozs, second John Aldis with 58lbs 4ozs, third Ron Adams with 50lbs 6ozs, fourth Peter Ainslie with 50lbs 2ozs 8dms, fifth Steve Little with 47lbs 9ozs, and sixth Reg Walford with 42lbs 13ozs.

Total weight for the match was 614lbs 14ozs 8dms. The winning side at Raine was the Captain's with a weight of 321lbs 5ozs, secretaries side 293lbs 14ozs 8dms.

The Saturday open on Ash lake was won on peg 21 by Len Golding with 174lbs all caught on meat, second Jason Collins with 159lbs, third Alec Roberts with 154lbs 12ozs.

Taking fourth place was Graham Dack with 150lbs 12ozs, fifth Mickey Hood with 138lbs 4ozs, sixth George Manoli with 135lbs 8ozs.

Stillwater details: THE third round of the junior championship at the Warren on the match lake saw only 3lb separate the tight first three places.

The winner was 14-year-old Mitchell Seaman with an all tench catch of 21lbs 2ozs which included a specimen of 6lbs 9ozs while runner-up on the day was 13-year-old Matt Tinworth with a mixed bag weighing 18lbs 10ozs.

Taking third spot was Jack Coombes with a tench and bream bag of 17lbs. Lewis Whincap took fourth place with 13lbs 8ozs.

On Wagtail lake, Cliff Wigley had seven carp to 9lbs 7ozs plus tench, Graham Wigley had six carp to 10lbs 6ozs plus good tench.

Also enjoying their visit to the lake, Tony Reeve had 11lbs 4ozs and 14lbs on tutti-frutti boilies, Martin Taylor had five carp to 11lbs 4ozs and 15 roach all over 1lb 8ozs.

Peg 17 produced the goods for Geoff Butler, using the waggler with bacon and corn, as he had a fine haul of skimmers.

On Willow Peter Jeffs had carp all day to 5lbs fishing with bread flake fishing a matter of just six inches below the surface.
